A new monolith has been found just outside the town of Balta, North Dakota. The monolith resembles the one's that have been appearing around the world. The source of the monolith like the others is unknown. Satellite imagery shows that the monolith has been there since 2004. In an interview with a resident of Balta, the resident says they've always known it was there they just left it be, the man says he just hopes the monolith will bring in tourists to help the local businesses. When asked if he knew about all of the monolith's appearing around the world he replied he hadn't, he mentioned that national news doesn't reach Balta very well. The speculation surrounding the monoliths suggests that they may be extraterrestrial or possibly an artist or prankster seeking to express themselves this way.
