Assignment 17-Kovaleva

I recently rewatched Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2, one of my favorite movies as a little kid. Even though sequels cannot often live up to original movies, in my opinion, Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2 is as good or better than Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs. It’s a fun movie to watch with family or friends when you need a laugh or pick-me-up. The food coming alive, even each food having their own personalities is imaginative. There was a good plot with a big plot twist when the scientist that Flint had admired since his childhood, turned out to be a jerk willing to kill the food characters to make money. Flint, realizing he made a mistake trusting the scientist over his friends that were always there for him, tries to save the food characters and ruin the plan of the scientist. With the help of his friends, he succeeds. A good lesson for kids, or anyone, that people make mistakes but that there are chances to fix your mistakes. Also, trust the friends that you know well because they usually know what is good for you. The animation in this movie is incredible, the food characters are bright and help create this fantasy land. I think this movie is a must watch, especially if you liked the first Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs.
