An issue I care a lot about is species endangerment/preservation. Thousands of species are endangered, and only humans have the power to save them. Even if they aren't the direct cause of the endangerment, as is the case with the poaching of animals like rhinos and elephants, it is still humans' responsibility to assist these species and keep them alive. There are practical reasons for this like research and biodiversity, but really if for no other reason we should maintain species populations because animals are cool.
